2027 Charger Super Bee — Key Specs

2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee: What We Know So Far

Yes — the 2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee is real, and Dodge has just unveiled it. It is essentially a high-performance, limited Launch Edition of the gas-powered Charger Sixpack, rather than an electric Daytona. (Road & Track)

🐝 2027 Charger Super Bee — Key Specs

The 600 hp figure is particularly interesting because the regular 2027 Charger Sixpack Scat Pack's Hurricane makes 550 hp. The Super Bee gets an additional 50 hp through changes including larger Garrett turbochargers, revised intake/cooling and other performance hardware. (Road & Track)

🚀 Performance

This is where the Super Bee gets serious.

3.6 seconds 0–60 mph and an 11.8-second quarter mile put it into territory that previously required much more exotic versions of the Charger. Dodge calls it the quickest and fastest Super Bee ever. (Road & Track)

It also gets:

  • Adaptive suspension
  • Performance-oriented chassis tuning
  • 20-inch forged wheels
  • Goodyear performance tires
  • Upgraded Brembo brakes
  • Dedicated Drag mode
  • Dedicated Track mode
  • Rear-wheel-drive capability

There's also a Cosworth Drive Experience Recorder, which can record vehicle/track data for analyzing driving performance. (Road & Track)

🔥 The interesting part: it's NOT a HEMI

This is probably going to be the biggest controversy among traditional Charger fans.

The Super Bee uses Dodge's 3.0L Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six, not a V8.

The regular Charger Sixpack Scat Pack makes 550 hp / 531 lb-ft, while Super Bee increases output to 600 hp while retaining the 531 lb-ft torque figure. (Car and Driver)

So although it doesn't have the traditional HEMI sound or cylinder count, the Hurricane is an extremely powerful engine.

🏁 Why the Super Bee is significant

The original Super Bee was a famous Dodge muscle-car nameplate from the late 1960s. The modern version has also appeared on previous Chargers.

What's different this time is that Dodge isn't simply putting Super Bee graphics on a Scat Pack. The 2027 Launch Edition gets meaningful mechanical upgrades to make it a faster car.

And because it's a limited Launch Edition, it could become an interesting collectible—although it's too early to say whether it will actually appreciate in value.
